Event Details

Please join GO-MAP and the ECC on Friday, February 5, at the UW Ethnic Cultural Center from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for the annual GO-MAP Winter Quarter Mentoring & Networking Reception.

In line with GO-MAP's goals, the purpose of this reception is to connect undergraduate and graduate students and help increase the pipeline from undergraduate to graduate education. This reception is open to all graduate and undergraduate underrepresented/minority students.

The details of the reception are as follows:

3 PM – 4:30 PM: Informational Session for undergrads to meet current grad students who will be available to answer questions about graduate school. There will also be resource tables with information about UW graduate departments and a graduate student poster session.

4:30 PM - 6 PM: Networking Reception for undergrads, grads, faculty, and staff

As we usually do, we will have good food to go along with the good company. We hope to see you all there!

*While many of GO-MAP's events are geared toward minority and underrepresented students, they are open to all University of Washington graduate students, faculty and staff, especially those interested in maintaining and increasing a racially diverse graduate student population and wishing to network with graduate students of color.
